Nashville’s newest destination hotel is scheduled to open in June 2018.
The new JW Marriott in Nashville–developed by Turnberry Associates under the leadership of Jackie Soffer (bizjournals.com)–will be a 33 story, 533 guest room, 50,000 square feet of flexible event space design masterpiece. A grand ballroom with 15,040 square feet and a junior ballroom with 10,109 square feet, which can accommodate 1,200 guests comfortably; will be featured as well as 16 meeting rooms and 2 permanent boardrooms. There is floor to ceiling windows and cutting-edge wireless technology throughout. There will be a featured space called the ‘event hub’ planned that will offer 24/7 space to meet and work as well as nontraditional meeting spaces throughout the JW Marriott. The Marriott, which will rise a staggering 33 stories, is primed to become the second highest elevation point in the city.
Upon arrival, guests will come into an elegant, warm lobby featuring over 1000 wines for indulging and premium cigars. The hotel will also feature a salon, fitness center, and a start-of-the-art spa for guests to relax and enjoy. The hotel will feature gorgeous marble floors that will create a sharp contrast to the black marble reception desks with wicker wingback chairs and reinforced steel light fixtures. A focal point in the lobby will be the 17-foot custom fireplace that is anchored with an activity table that guests can use for work, interact, and host small gatherings. There will also be a fine dining restaurant located on the 33rd story for guests to enjoy.
Nashville’s JW Marriott will be located just across the street from Nashville’s Music City Center (http://www.nashvillemusiccitycenter.com/about), which is a huge tourist attraction; and it is within a two-mile radius from The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, The Ryman Auditorium, and the Schermerhorn Symphony Center to name a few attractions.
